Are there any fees associated with your services?<\/h3>\n \n\n

A: Services for survivors: <\/strong>The initial fees are $50. However, each year on April 1st, it’s necessary to renew the membership card for $10. Additionally, there might be additional fees for participating in monthly recreational and thematic activities, as well as annual events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: Services for caregivers: <\/strong>All services are free. However, if you wish to participate in monthly recreational and thematic activities, as well as annual events, you need to acquire the membership card ($10, renewable every April 1st) and cover the costs associated with the activity you will be joining. <\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n \n\n\n

Can my loved one sleep during the respite service?<\/h3>\n \n\n

A: <\/strong>Absolutely! We understand how significant fatigue can be for survivors. Our respite service is designed with kindness and respect for your loved one’s capabilities. Is it possible to visit your organization's premises?<\/h3>\n \n\n

A: <\/strong>Certainly! When you are considering enrolling your loved one in our organization, we warmly welcome you for a meeting with the integration coordinator. This visit will offer a chance to explore our facilities and plan a trial at one or two of our activities. We want you to feel comfortable and confident in our environment. <\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n \n\n\n

As a caregiver, can I participate with my loved one in the weekly stimulating activities?<\/h3>\n \n\n

A: <\/strong>Our weekly stimulating activities are specifically designed to provide survivors with a space of their own. We believe in promoting their autonomy and allowing them to express themselves confidentially. However, rest assured that we have also planned activities and moments for you, caregivers, to support you and provide a space dedicated to your needs. <\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n \n\n\n

Can you assist my loved one with using the restroom?<\/h3>\n \n\n

A: <\/strong>We understand the essential nature of restroom assistance in certain situations. However, within our team, we do not have attendants for beneficiaries. It’s important that your loved one can independently use the restroom. <\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n \n\n\n

Are you a day center?<\/h3>\n \n\n

A: <\/strong>We are more of a living environment. We believe in the importance of fostering individual autonomy. Your loved one should be able to navigate our premises, move independently, take care of themselves by eating and responsibly taking their medications. We aim to provide a space where everyone can evolve freely, with unrestricted access, and where conviviality prevails. <\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n \n\n\n

How will my loved one with aphasia communicate with your team and other survivors?<\/h3>\n \n\n

A: <\/strong>We prioritize creating an environment where every person feels fully included and heard in our community. To facilitate communication for aphasic individuals with our team and other survivors, we use various communication aids. You’ll find items like pencils, boards, tablets, and pictograms that enable fluid and compassionate communication. Our priority is to establish an environment where exchanges are warm and mutual understanding prevails. <\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n \n\n\n

Does my loved one have to have aphasia to come to the organization? <\/h3>\n \n\n

A:<\/strong> No, your loved one can come to the organization even if he or she does not have aphasia. In other words, a person can survive a stroke without becoming aphasic and still come to the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n \n\n\n

Does my loved one have to attend the organization for me to benefit from the services for caregivers? <\/h3>\n \n\n
